Which of the following input device is not a pointing device?
Tap an option to check yourself.
Answer: D) Scanner
A pointing device is an input device used to control the movement of the cursor or pointer on the computer screen.
-> Joystick is a pointing device.
-> Light pen is a pointing device.
-> Digitizing tablet (graphics tablet) is a pointing device.
A Scanner is also an input device, but it is used to scan papers, photos or documents and convert them into digital form. It does not control the cursor or pointer on the screen.
So, the device that is not a pointing device is the Scanner.
